The City of Corpus Christi hosted the Texas Lone Star Chapter Solid Waste Association of
North America (TxSWANA) 2010 annual conference from April 25-April 28, 2010.
The Lone Star Chapter is an extension of the Solid Waste Association of North America
(SWANA). Our challenge is to advance the practice of managing solid waste in the most economical and environmentally responsible methods possible. The Texas Chapter is comprised of a membership exceeding 400 public and private entities. We anticipate over 300 delegates will attend the 2010 conference which will be a very high intensity, highly visible, and
tremendously rewarding experience for everyone that attends.
Some of this year's highlights included:
- An opening reception where everyone met one another.
- A vast array of technical presentations and tours.
- A Luau with something for everyone.
- Many exhibitors showcased their products and services.
- Breakfasts and luncheons featured exciting keynote speakers.
- Your choice of a challenging golf or fishing tournament.
