Salary:

$1,249 to $2170.50 biweekly

Schedule:

Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Evening and weekend work may be required to address public group meetings.

Description:

Manages the Litter Abatement Education and Outreach program, the Recycling Education and Outreach program and other programs or initiatives that arise to benefit efforts in managing the cleanliness of the City. This is accomplished by working with City staff to address the public at meetings (community groups, schools, neighborhood organizations), preparing informational/educational literature for distribution and promoting the programs through outreach to encourage maximum participation. Administers the program budgets by monitoring and reporting expenditures of City and grant money. Assists Supt. of Administration with preparation of annual budget and monitoring monthly revenues and expenditures. Oversees the programs by analyzing all aspects and making adjustments necessary for the success and maximum participation in the programs. Position may necessitate traveling to sites within the City.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of directly related experience related to the essential duties of the position
• Valid Class C Driver's License at time of hire
• Pass background check
