Description:
|
The Civil Engineer will work with a team of engineers on a wide range of projects for utility clients including solid
waste, water, stormwater, wastewater, gas and electric. He/she will prepare construction drawings, documents,
specifications, reports and cost estimates. Additionally, he/she will provide project design support, depending on
practice assignment, for:
- Site development for solid waste facilities such as transfer stations, landfills, material recovery facilities
- Site development for utility system projects such as surface water management and water supply facilities
- Foundations, retaining walls and other structures

Minimum Qualifications:
|
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-5 years experience related to solid waste, water resources, or water/wastewater engineering
- Engineer-in-Training Certificate or ability to obtain one within one year, depending on position
- Moderate level of computer competency in software programs including AutoCAD, LDD, Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic analysis programs, RISA 3D, etc.
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communications skills
