The staff of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is undertaking the major task of revising the Chapter 330 - Municipal Solid Waste Rules. This project will affect all of us in the solid waste industry. Their second draft was recently published. TxSWANA and many other affected parties are providing their comments. Your perspective on the impact of the proposed rules is important in this rule development process, so please provide your comments to the agency and the TxSWANA board. The Chapter is investing much time in reviewing the proposed changes to provide the agency with our members' concerns and support on numerous issues. I extend my thanks to all of those cities and members that have provided their financial support and time on this project.
