WASTECON will be in Austin in just a couple of months. Many of your fellow chapter members and our local sponsors have been working hard with SWANA in preparation of this premier event.
I would like to extend my thanks to all of those individuals, exhibitors and our sponsors for your continuing support of our Lone Star Chapter and SWANA. Your participation, support and contributions are what make us the well-respected and first class solid waste professional organization it is today.
There will be a special technical session at WASTECON on Texas issues Thursday afternoon with topics of specific interest to Texas members. I invite you to join us for that Texas session.
This year our TxSWANA ROAD-E-O will be held on Friday, September 29th, the day after WASTECON closes. We invite you all to stay an extra day to attend and encourage you to send your ROAD-E-O competitors to Austin a day early to see the equipment show on our complimentary one day show pass.
