Hear ye, hear ye . . .
Nearly 250 lords and ladies from the realm of Texas and beyond presented themselves at the annual conference from the 4th to 7th of June in Dallas. There they participated in an unmatched spectacle including epic battles between noble knights, a feast with candidate for Governor of the Realm Kinky Friedman, and indispensable technical sessions teaching valuable new information. Courtiers also visited plots from over 50 vendors, an indoor and outdoor show, including emerging technologies like hybrid garbage collection vehicles. A legendary event indeed, TxSWANA 2006 presented wizardry, sorcery, nobility, and chivalry as never before seen in the kingdom.
Preliminary reports count this as the best gathering in the storied history of TxSWANA conferences. One and all clamored for the opportunity to represent their clans at next year's conference in Austin.
